Redwoods

This is my FAVORITE picture from our trip.


On our 2 week trip up to the northwest we drive through the Redwoods. I know now how special it is to have National Parks. What an awesome place. I wish I could live in the Redwood forest. I like the energy there! One of the top 3 places on our trip. The Redwoods are over 300 feet tall. That is taller the the Statue of Liberty. I hope you all can go visit this magical place!

Getting our Groupon on!

Ann & Ryan B are our friends that are moving soon. Ann is doing a residency in radiation. She is a vet. Now I have a reason to go to Virgina! We are trying to spend as much time with them as we can.
We bought a GC on Groupon.com to Pizzicato Pizza. Everyday they have a great deal on something. So delish! This place is walking distance from my work! You can see Owen wanted to eat the box too! I ordered the Thai Pizza. Yes Thai. And we had the wild mushroom pizza.
I painted my nails the most awsome aqua color. It's my new favorite. So it started a short photo shoot.

Luaren and Jason adopted a boston terrier. Frankie. He is almost 1 year. I get to dog sit at the end of May!

We road our bike to Earthday at Balboa Park. A favorite hangout.

YARD PROGRESS

We have been talking about starting our veggie garden. So we wanted to clean the mess of stuff hidden behind the fence and take the wood fence down. The gate was wanting to fall off so we just took it down today. We love that we can see our yard and that it will be part of a usable space.

We will be terracing the hillside at a later date. We so badly want to start growing tomatoes! What do you think?

It is crazy! I have had Owen as my best friend for over 6 years! We have been married for 5.5 years and i have loved every second! Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
